City Drawing!

City Drawing!

I think this was one of the easiest projects, we have had! Here, we had to draw the city that we would like to be. Whether it was big or small. I decided to draw my three favorite stores; Hollister, Rue 21, and TJ Max. Following that, my art instructor, Mr.Puffpaff, told me to add a Post Office. I really think this project turned out for me, it was easy and simple. Many students decided to shade their cities, but that took them way more time! Here, i just wanted to get it done, to work on our next bug thing; PAINT. If i were to do this project again, i would probably add more cities. Overall, my classmates & i did a great job acheiving this project!

Hallway Drawing!

Hallway Drawing!

On this project, we had to make our dream hallway. What could possibly make a school better, throughout the hallways, every student walks in? I decided to draw a petting zoo in my hallway.  I do think, I rushed through this project. For example, on the floors and ceilings, and on the lockers. My colors looked very trashy. If I were to do this project again,  I would probably focus more on the coloring and take all of my time.

Two Point Perspective Name Drawing!♥

Two Point Name Drawing!♥

This was my favorite art drawing yet. I loved the two point perspective. My favorite part, was how it got smaller at the edges, and bigger in the middle. Personally, I feel that is what made this drawing look so good. Also, I picked amazing colors. By using the rainbow, as my color scheme, it made each and every letter pop out! I feel I did very good on this project, I took all my time on this project. If i were to do this over again, I think I would have made my colors pop out a little more. From this project, I learned how to make my name pop out, so now if any other prjects come about I can use these skills to make it look ten times better.

One Point Perspective Drawing!♥

One Point Perspective Drawing!

I personally think this was yet another one of those projects on that I did poorly on. I honostly feel like I didnt take all the time I needed to do on this project. The top part for the name, "Madison," I used a ruler, and I do think that is what made it look bad. The second part for my last name, I just free drawed it, and truely I fell like that turned out way better. I think the blue and green colors went very well on this project. But, as i say on all of my other drawing, I either have to little time, to not finish all my work, and then I do it sloppy, or I have too much time. Here I do believe I had too little time. I rushed, and didn't color completely through all of the letters, and it some how looks now trashy. If I were to redo this project, I would give myself extra time, to make it all look better, maybe add a couple extra designs into it. Overall, this was just another project.

Superhero Drawing!♥

This is my superhero drawing! Here, we had to pick out an action figure, and draw it LARGER! I truely feel this is my worst project, I rushed! I felt like there was not enough time to complete this drawing, and after awhile of doing this everyday, it became very boring! Towards the end of this project, I became very lazy on this project, exspecially with the coloring, on the left arm. I feel I did an excellent job on drawing the product, but the coloring to me, was a waste of time! Not to mention, I didn't have a gold colored pencil for the mask, and the blue's I was using did not match my charaqcter at all. -_- If I were to redo this, I would not color it. Just because the coloring on my project made it look very trashy. Overall, I learned how to enlarge a drawing, and to make a fake character look real.♥

Still Life Drawing♥

Still Life Drawing; was by far the hardest project I have had to draw. I liked having to focus on something, and then having to put in onto your own paper. I feel I did better than some others on this project, but my biggest problem was the shading. Shading to me, is very, very, difficult. You have to find where your light source is coming from, and then put it in affect, and try to find where your dark spots are, and where you have to draw the lightest shade. I think, if I had spent more time on the shading, my overall project would have turned out better. If i could redo this Still Life Drawing, I would ask for more time. Time seems to go by way fast when doing these types of projects. What have I learned from this project? I learned, how to draw still life things, like, pots, pans, cups, candles, etc. I really hope there is another project somewhat like this.♥

Pop Can Line Drawing♥

The first Art 1 project, of many. We started off by drawing a regular pop can, then crushing as the, second part. At first, I was, lets say, interested on how my project would turn out. This was my first art drawing, and at first, it was very hard to draw; but after a couple times of practice I started to get the hang of it. My project overall, looks pretty good I'd say, since it was my first project. I really think I could have done better on it, by putting a little more effort in it. The part I was struggling with the most, was the labels. It looked very easy at first, but when I started to sketch the lables out, it became very difficult. It truely would have helped, if I had sketched this out a couple more times. I also, ran out of time, using more class time, could have helped me tremendously. If, I were to do this project over again, I would spend alot more time on it, and focus a little more. Not only, did I rush, I didn't really take this project seriously. I now learned how to draw: a pop can, emphasize lines, and to, make details pop out more of any given object.
